Russells originated in England in the early 19th century and were initially used to hunt red foxes. Because of their training, Jack Russell Terriers generally have high stamina and are very bright. If giving your dog items and tasks to keep it busy still hasn’t rectified your puppy chewing problems, you can also try spraying the items he/she chews on the most with a bitter, sour, or spicy spray. Ask your veterinarian or pet supply store clerk about “no chew” sprays.
